Ottawa Showbox is celebrating five years! We’ve watched this city’s music scene explode since the website was founded in 2012, and we could never have imagined we’d be where we are today.
Starting off as a personal music blog, Showbox has grown into a crucial music publication and resource in Ottawa. We’ve had hundreds of thousands of readers over the years, and things are still heating up. Showbox has also grown into something bigger than just a website – we promote shows, act as advisors, participate in panels and music industry festivals, and more. For this we’re very proud, and it all comes back to one common goal: supporting local music.
