Blue Hawaii – holdsomeone [Listen]

Blue Hawaii returns with a brand new single, “holdsomeone,” released today via Helix Records.
The track is a pulsating electro-dance pop gem, blending shimmering synths, rhythmic grooves, and the duo’s signature emotional warmth.
It’s a vibrant, hypnotic listen that feels tailor-made for late-night dance floors and introspective moments alike.

About the track by Blue Hawaii:
This track came to life when Ra had been talking with a friend who was feeling lonely and heartbroken.
It wasn’t about wanting to stay in a relationship; it was about wishing they had someone to hold, someone to feel close to.
In that conversation, she found herself reminding them how much strength and comfort can come from friendship, and how being held emotionally by the people who care about us can be just as powerful.
Later, while she was setting up her vocal mic, her eyes landed on a handwritten note pinned to her bulletin board.
A best friend had given it to her during one of their own check-ins, a simple line that read: “You don’t even have the time to worry about it.”
The timing of that reminder hit immediately.

It connected to everything she had been feeling that day: the tenderness of friendship, the ache of loneliness, and the quiet ways we show up for each other when life gets heavy.
Kirby found this sample “holdsomebody” and the track was born.
At its heart, it is about the support we offer one another, the people who champion us, hold us up, and remind us we’re not alone. Some things truly deserve our worry, and others don’t. And no matter how long it has been, a friend is always just a call away.
