It was not cold in the summer but cold in the winter.
Even this record breaking snowstorm Ottawa has endured didn’t stop people from attending this wonderful concert with Dan Mangan and Matt Holubowski at Algonquin Commons Theatre.
Show started off with Matt Holubowski.
The Montreal musician performed a intimate folk alternative music.
Kind of a mix between Damien Rice, Bon Iver and Leonard Cohen. 7/10.
Then it was Dan Mangan’s turn to shine on the stage.
Currently touring and promoting his fourth album More or Less which came out on November 2, 2018.
Playing between tracks from the album More or Less and Nice, Nice, Very Nice which I noticed is 10 years old!
Did a surprising cover of Robyn’s Hang With Me.
There was the favorites like The Indie Queen Are Waiting, Road Regrets, Basket and the crowd pleasing Robots.
Ended off with Dan getting off stage and into the crowds which was unreal! What a show! 10/10.
