The show was presented by Debaser which is a Tuesday radio show on CKCU FM and was part of the funding drive for the radio station and a final show for the headlining band.
Playing at the show were, Swollen Eyes, Paul Jacobs and Sharing
The show started off with Montreal/Toronto duo Sharing.
This was my first time seeing this art-punk-rock two piece.
They had that lo-fi punk rock sound which reminded me of this other Montreal band called Solids and probably Japandroids.
Windsor’s Paul Jacobs played a absolute rocking solo set.
His music was indie psych-punk and reminded me of Ty Segall or a heavier/louder Chad VanGaalen
Finally it was Swollen Eyes who played a last show before their radical transformation into god-knows-what!
I would have thought they would do something over the top.
It seemed like a pretty decent set for the first 20-ish minutes of the set I saw.
No one went full-frontal or got down to their skivvies 😛
Overall this was a fun rocking set.
