Today, 2023 Polaris Music Prize winner Debby Friday unveiled the music video for her latest single, “Lipsync.”
The track is the third single from her highly anticipated sophomore album, The Starrr Of The Queen Of Life, out August 1, 2025 via Sub Pop Records (Worldwide) and Royal Mountain Records (Canada).
“Lipsync” leans into a slick electro-rap sound, pulling back from the high-octane energy of her previous two singles.
Instead, it highlights Debby Friday’s versatility and sharp delivery, expanding her sonic palette while still holding onto her signature edge.
