On September 14, 2024, Ottawa’s The 27 Club erupted with hardcore punk and alternative rock energy.
I couldn’t miss the chance to catch Toronto’s Fucked Up on the third night of their Another Day Live tour.
The band, known for their explosive performances, delivered a blistering set that featured tracks from the Another Day, but the real highlights came when they dove into classics like “Queen of Hearts” and “David Comes To Life”.
Chastity followed with a brooding, atmospheric set, performing under moody red lights.
The band recently dropped their self-titled album via Dine Alone Records, and their garage-rock alternative sound pushed the night deeper into raw, emotive territory. Their energy filled the room, with gritty guitars and thundering drums punctuating every song.
Montreal’s Puffer kicked off the night with a fierce hardcore punk set, setting the tone right from the start.
Their relentless, aggressive sound was the perfect opener for what became an unforgettable night of loud, visceral music.
