On October 10th, Debaser which is a radio show on CKCU FM held a show at Mugshots.
I was excited about this show.
Playing at the show:
• HSY (Pronounced Hussy)
• Doomsquad
• Blue Angel
The first set was by Ottawa’s Blue Angel.
The band consist of the female members of Boyhood, Roberta Bondar and Organ Eyes.
Man did they rocked the place.
I was blown away by their set.
Music was loud, punk and crazy!!
Hopefully they will have something released on Bruised Tongue very soon.
Second set was Doomsquad.
They were just brilliant as always.
Pulse pounding electro-tribal dance set.
I couldn’t help but dance to their music.
Still love that dark sound the band puts on.
Can’t wait for the full-length album but bummed out the EP is only available digitally.
Lastly it was HSY (Hussy)’s turn.
They play a loud indie garage punk set.
I really enjoyed their set.
It was crazy and made you just rock out.
Didn’t set for the rest since I was getting tired.
Overall it was a great night.
