Two bands that I wanted to catch at Live on Elgin on November 6th.
It was Toronto’s Jane’s Party and Vancouver’s Frankiie.
First time seeing the Vancouver band Frankiie.
They are promoting their debut album Forget Your Head which is out on Paperbag Records.
Nice set of indie dream rock music! 8/10.
Then it was Jane’s Party’s turn on stage.
I hadn’t seen them in quite some time but they surely put on a great rocking set.
They are promoting their album Casual Island which came out earlier this year.
Thank goodness for members of Frankiie who just went up and danced and the audience (including me) to follow suit.
Two members of Frankiie went up and did a cover of Eagle’s Witchy Woman since they performed it on Halloween.
Fun times dancing up a sweat! 8/10.
