ENCORE! marks the ten-year anniversary of Jill’s best-selling debut francophone album, Chansons, and sees her team up once again with Grammy Award-nominated producer Drew Jurecka.
Ten years ago, Jill found herself at an intensive French immersion school in the south of France that culminated in the recording of an album of classic French songs ranging from Edith Piaf to Serge Gainsbourg.
A decade later, this album- Chansons- has been streamed over 150 million times and is currently on its 4th vinyl pressing. The album took Jill to travel the world, playing in France, Austria, Japan, Mexico, as well as several jazz festivals across Canada.
In 2020, Jill recorded Entre nous with producer Gus Van Go, it marked Jill’s first time writing original songs in French, and went on to be streamed over 10 million times.
