Recently the LA-based (by way of Alberta, Canada) indie pop artist Laur Elle dropped the music video for Static taken from the album Delayed Reaction.
A nice easy breezy electro-pop tune.

“I wrote Static about fantasizing about a vacation romance.
It’s that moment when you walk by a really attractive person and think, ‘Who is that?’ and ‘What if..?’ When I sit down to write, I usually find myself leaning towards more emotional and introspective songs, but that’s just one side of me.
I wanted to push myself out of my comfort zone while writing this record, and Static was the result of that.
It’s spicy and sexy, and I think it surprised a lot of people which I love :)”
