Ottawa Bluesfest 2024 [Day 7]

Despite the muddy grounds after the rain, the seventh day of Ottawa Bluesfest 2024 brought an electrifying night on the main stage.
Toronto’s hardcore punk band Cancer Bats delivered a high-energy performance, blending screamo punk and metal with their signature intensity.
Their setlist included dynamic covers of Neil Young’s “Cinnamon Girl” and Beastie Boys’ “Sabotage,” which thrilled the crowd.
The band’s raw power and relentless energy made them a standout act, proving that even challenging weather conditions couldn’t dampen the spirit of the festival.

Headlining the seventh day of Ottawa Bluesfest 2024, The Offspring delivered an electrifying performance. Amid lively banter, they thrilled the crowd with hits like “Gotta Get Away,” “Why Don’t You Get a Job,” “Pretty Fly (for a White Guy),” and closed with “Self Esteem.” Filling in for Neil Young, they paid homage with a short jam cover of “Rockin’ In The Free World.” Their set was a nostalgic journey, bringing back the energetic essence of 90s punk rock. The Offspring’s performance was a standout, resonating with longtime fans and new listeners alike.
