Went to a great show on a Monday night at Zaphod Beeblebrox.
We Are The City and Aidan Knight made a Ottawa stop for their Reckless Bravery Tour #2.
I was excited to see them since they are coming all the way from British Columbia for this cross-Canada tour.
The show started off with a solo set from Blake Ememark of We Are The City.
Surprised he did a cover of Natalie Imbruglia’s Torn.
It was a nice acoustic set he pulled off.
Next it was Aidan Knight and was just simply him on stage.
He played alot of the slower acoustic tracks.
It was so quiet that you can hear a pin drop.
There were two songs he sang about BC. One of the song was so emotional, I felt like I was almost going to cry.
He got We Are The City to join in on Knitting Something Nice and Jasper.
Aidan told a story on how he faked breaking his finger from basketball for 2 months.
Aidan is an amazing singer, come in a few months time he will truly make it big and fill up some shows.
Last it was We Are The City and they played a rocking wild set.
The band had some funny stories on what they faked out on.
They were out promoting the new album High School.
It was a great set the band put on.
You should definitely check these both acts on their Reckless Bravery Tour #2 before it ends.
Here are the photos.
