Montreal trio Saxsyndrum return with Room of Endless Days, their first full-length release in six years.
The album marks a stunning evolution in the band’s sound, weaving a dreamy, moody, and atmospheric tapestry that blurs the lines between experimental electro-jazz and synth-pop.
With layered textures, ambient washes, and intricate rhythms, Room of Endless Days feels both intimate and expansive – a sonic space where improvisation meets structure, and emotion takes centre stage.
About the album by Saxsyndrum:
‘Room of Endless Days’ seeks to communicate the experience of clinging to aspects of life that no longer hold the same power or purpose, and the journey of relinquishing that follows, allowing for change, and eventually, growth.
While the ghosts of our past selves may linger on, persisting in memory, they cannot define our path forward. If we are to find solace in change, we must first traverse the threshold, beyond the room and out into the bountiful unknown of night.
