Sea Change & Still Native @ Pressed [March 2, 2013]

Went to Pressed for the Doldrums Music Festival (No! Not the musician) on March 2nd.
It was their last night of it and I wanted to see it for myself.
I only caught the first two act which were:
Sea Change
Sea Change @ Pressed
Still Native
Still Native @ Pressed

When I got to Pressed and I was surprised to how packed it was.
It was good for it’s sophomore year and hopefully will grow.

Anyways the first band to play was Sea Change.
Hadn’t seen them before.
Here is what their music is (From Facebook):
Folk-Pop Post-Rock Not-Quite-Hip-Hop Often-Instrumental Somewhat-Experimental Nearly-Jazz Joyful Noise
Sort of reminds me of Bell Orchestre, Ferriswheel and Sigur Ros.
They had Rachel of The Musettes backing on vocals.
It was a lovely brilliant set.

After them was Still Native.
Still fresh off their album release.
They played a great indie rock set!
The audience definitely enjoyed the set.
Still Native @ Pressed
Sadly I didn’t see all the bands that played
But overall I was definitely surprised to this year’s turnout
Hopefully they can top their third year.
Here are the rest of the photos.
