Ottawa – May 2, 2025
Montreal’s SUUNS played to a packed crowd at Club SAW in Ottawa, delivering a mesmerizing set in support of their 2024 album The Breaks.
Known for their brooding blend of electronic rock and post-punk minimalism, SUUNS leaned heavily into the atmospheric textures of their latest release, while still weaving in selections from earlier works like Felt, Hold/Still, Images du Futur, and Zeroes QC.
The result was a sprawling, spacey journey through dark, dreamy soundscapes—equal parts hypnotic and propulsive.

Opening the night was Nick Schofield, who set the tone with a preview of his new ambient rave set.
His performance balanced serenity and pulse, offering lush synth layers and rhythmic undercurrents that pulled the audience into a meditative state before the main act.

The show captured the essence of SUUNS’ sonic evolution—moody, immersive, and sonically rich.
A night of deep listening and ecstatic energy that left the room buzzing long after the final note.
