“After writing the song, I realized that I’d written it also for myself.
After spending my younger years as a touring musician, and then ‘dropping out’ of the music industry to work in academia, and then in mental healthcare settings, I have been reimagining the role music plays in my life outside of the treadmill of the music industry.”
