Tough Age, Business of Dreams and Barrington Club Band @ Black Squirrel Books

First Crush Promotion presented this great show on a Tuesday night at Black Squirrel Books.
Got to the venue and caught most of this Ottawa act called Barrington Club Band.
First time seeing this Lo-fi pop punk act and they were great belting out sad pop punk noise music. 7/10.
The second act was Corey Cunningham’s Business of Dream.
Coming all the way from Los Angeles, I was very excited for this set because I heard the leading single called Keep The Blues Away from the upcoming album Ripe for Anarchy out on February 1st via Slumberland Records.
Just Corey on his guitar with a tape reel player.
Parts reminded me of 90s New Order a-la Regret.
Totally loved the 80s/90s influence indie dream pop music. 8/10.

Ending the night was Tough Age.
They never disappoint live with their pop-punk music. 8/10.
