Olenka and the Autumn Lovers and Kite Hill @ Raw Sugar Cafe

Here is a clip of Olenka and the Autumn Lovers singing my favorite song called Flash in the Pan.

It was a lovely intimate evening of orchestral pop and acoustic folk-rock music at Raw Sugar Cafe.
Playing were:

Despite the rain, there was people who attended the show.
I noticed that its been a year since I last saw Olenka play in Ottawa at the same venue.
It was a CD release show too for the band which they released their album “And Now We Sing”.

The show started off with Kite Hill.
It was an amazing set they put on.
A very indie orchestral pop set.
For those that don’t know the band features members of Ohbijou and Forest City Lovers.
Kind of bummed that Anissa who plays the cello couldn’t make it for the Ottawa show.
Can’t wait for the album in 2011.

Olenka and the Autumn Lovers was up.
Amazing set they put on.
The first few songs it was just the female part of the band.
Later on the rest of the guys of the band joined in.
The band played a mix of new and old tracks.
Olenka was surprised to how we Ottawa folks are very polite.
Just say it was a very upclose and intimate set.
