A Cousins kind of night @ Raw Sugar Cafe

After seeing Shawn Clarke at Umi Cafe on September 14, 2011.
It was a short walk up to Raw Sugar Cafe.
Playing there was Cousins from Halifax.
They haven’t played Ottawa since April 20, 2010.
The band (or duo) is on a September tour and Ottawa was the first stop.


Opening up the show was Ottawa’s Musk Ox.
It was a nice mellow set. Filled with new tracks and nice ambient folky classical instrumental music.

Holobodys, I am going to quote from this site.
Holobodys are said to be elusive and that’s true.

Cousins played a fun rocking set.
Noticed there is a new drummer.
Got a little mixed up thinking Adam was in that band. He happens to be in Duzheknew which Aaron plays in.
It was a great set filled with loud indie catchy poppy rock music.
