It was a low key intimate show at Raw Sugar Cafe.
Performing at the show was Astral Swans from Calgary and Trails from Ottawa.
Astral Swans performed a lovely intimate psych-poppy set of tracks from his current album “All My Favorite Singers Are Willie Nelson”. It was a one off stop before he headed off to Guelph for Hillside Festival. Nice mellow and Melancholic.Starting off the set was Ottawa’s Trails. It was my first time seeing Allie of Weed Mom perform (Having seen her band perform last night). It was more of a stripped down acoustic pop music. Allie mentioned she performed with a three-piece but they didn’t have a drum kit. It was really a lovely set and wow is she really talented. Even Matt of Astral Swans said he was upstaged by her!
