Today, Toronto musician Luka Kuplowsky released the self-directed music video for “I Am a Bug.”
The track serves as the second single from his upcoming album, The Grass Grows, Antonych Grows Росте Антонич, і росте трава, due out March 20, 2026 via Next Door Records.
Clocking in at just two minutes, the song delivers a dreamy blend of synth-pop and folk, creating a gentle and immersive sonic atmosphere.

Channeling Antonych’s lexically dense and mystical poetry, Kuplowsky weaves a playful drum loop with stirring synth pads and sprinklings of ear candy to create a musical richness that parallels his literary inspiration.
“The declarative, I am a bug,’ birthed the record.
I kept repeating it over a Yamaha drum preset while reading Antonych’s “Cherry Trees” and suddenly the music’s path became remarkably clear,” says Kuplowsky.
