Recently, the Los Angeles-based band Peel Dream Magazine released their mini-album Taurus via Topshelf Records.
A collection of dreamy, experimental indie pop tracks originally left off Rose Main Reading Room.
About the album by Joe:
“Taurus is a new mini album featuring eight previously unreleased tracks from the Rose Main Reading Room Sessions.
Some of these songs were cut for time, but the majority of them were actually just unfinished when we had to turn that album in, and after some additional tinkering I eventually decided they should see the light of day.
One of my favorites here is the title track, which was actually one of the first seeds for the sound of those sessions.
Another one of my favorites is ‘Believer’, which is about my wife, and opening yourself up to someone who you care about.
Hopefully folks appreciate this record as its own thing — as a short standalone album — but also a companion piece to Rose Main Reading Room.”
