So you may have heard, I am going to be heading up to Seattle for the Capitol Hill Block Party. The festival which takes over six city blocks and runs for 3 days (July 21 -23) celebrating Seattle’s iconic arts and music center. It is an excuse for myself to check out this lovely city. …
Montreal’s dance-funk party band Busty and the Bass performed at RBC Ottawa Bluesfest 2017 on the BlackSheep Inn stage. Promoting their upcoming album Uncommon Good which drops on September 8th. Favorite set from the festival on July 15th.
This was my first time seeing Dead Obies at RBC Ottawa Bluesfest 2017. They are an experimental hip hop band originating from South Shore, Quebec. Seeing all 6 members on the Blacksheep Inn stage is quite something to see.
Ottawa’s Blakdenim played at RBC Ottawa Bluesfest 2017. Performing on the Claridge Homes Stage with their blend of hip-hop, funk, rock and soul. Got the audience moving and shaking in the nice hot weather!
Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals was one of the big highlights on Day 8 of RBC Ottawa Bluesfest 2017. Wasn’t as crazy as the night before. Anderson had a lot of stage presence and the music was great to listen and dance around.

The American hip-hop trio from Lawrenceville, Georgia Migos came on stage and performed during RBC Ottawa Bluesfest 2017. While it wasn’t my cup of tea, quite …
Daniel Caesar graced the Black Sheep Inn stage during RBC Ottawa Bluesfest 2017. Performing his R&B/Sould music, it was nice hit back show before the insanity.
Let’s say Day 7 of RBC Ottawa Bluesfest 2017 was quite something. Starting off was Ottawa’s R&B/Hip-hop artist Maurice Moore. Had girls screaming with his dance moves and songs.
Rapper Fetty Wap performed on the main stage aka City Stage on Day 5 of RBC Ottawa Bluesfest 2017. It was insane for this show, with teenagers going crazy for him. Very much last year’s Future playing at the festival but not too insane but there were people passing out or getting hurt.
