Today the Vancouver/Toronto band Tough Age (been awhile) dropped the track surprisingly enough has Urursei Yatsura single cover for Give It A Day.
The second single is taken from their upcoming album Waiting Here which comes out on June 16, 2023 via We Are Time (Canada) and Bobo Integral (rest of the world).
A cool change in style with more of a jangle pop and 90s alterna-rock vibe.

“A song about not giving up despite having every reason to.
I think this is like the hopeful version of my usual strain of songwriting negativity, inspired by Penny leaving the band and…other things, reflecting on everything working against me all this time including myself.
There’s so much Tough Age easter egg shit in this song both musically and lyrically that if we were popular would lead to an article like “thirty easter eggs hidden on Waiting Here” that would be at the top of a Canadian music website for an hour before Drake announced a tour or something. Catharsis doesn’t have to mean fantasy, you can stay realistic.”
