The second day of CityFolk 2024 brought a surge of energy with a lineup that was sure to draw a crowd.
The headliner of the night, American rock band Greta Van Fleet, did not disappoint.
With their signature mix of classic hard rock and progressive influences, the band put on a powerful performance that had the Ottawa audience in the palm of their hands.
The massive turnout reflected their growing popularity, and their set was nothing short of electrifying, making for one of the most memorable nights of the festival.
Opening the main stage was Charlie Edward, whose energetic rock set had the crowd buzzing from the start.
With his commanding stage presence and tight, no-nonsense performance, Edward really rocked it out of the park, setting the perfect tone for the evening ahead.
Meanwhile, the Fasken stage offered a more intimate vibe, blending folk, blues, and rock.
The Tennessee Cree brought soulful melodies, Jacob River Milnes offered a unique take on the folk-rock sound, and veteran performer Fred Eaglesmith rounded out the night with a mix of storytelling and raw musicianship.
