Last night, I headed to House of Targ for a CBC Night show hosted by CBC Ottawa.
The event showcases staff and personalities from CBC Ottawa performing under their musical alter egos after hours.
The lineup featured acts like Area Resident, Scary Bear Soundtrack, Gentleman of the Woods, and The Alan Thix.
Although my energy level was a bit low after a long Friday, I made sure to catch Dad Sports, who hadn’t performed in about four years.
Their set delivered a great mix of indie synth-driven alt-pop, making it a highlight of the night.
