I had Her Harbour on my Monday radio show.
So I finally got the time to listen to her debut album “Winter’s Ghosts“.
In case you don’t know, Gabrielle Giguere goes by Her Harbour.
Having seen her play live various time.
All I can say is WOW! on what is her debut album.
Winter’s Ghost is a mix of indie acoustic and orchestral sound folk pop album.
The ways she sings is like slow moving poetry.
She pours her soul and emotion on this 9 track album.
It’s like stepping into a mystical land where it’s magical and mysterious.
Gabrielle mentioned that most of the songs in the album is very personal.
It is a wonderful album to listen to!
Best tracks:
- This Age
- Deloria
- Phinn’s
- Petunia
- Green Bellows
- Carolina
RIYL: Cold Specks, Regina Spektor, Basia Bulat, Leif Vollebekk and Timber Timbre
I’d give Winter’s Ghosts 9/10.
