Studio Sixty Six had their opening reception for Leslie Hossack‘s Freud Through The Looking-Glass
About the exhibition:
Ottawa photographer, artist Leslie Hossack’s exhibition, “Freud Through The Looking-Glass” presents a series of photographs from Sigmund Freud’s home and office in Vienna that will inspire viewers to think about the profound impact of Freud’s theories.
The photographs chosen for this exhibition are part of a much larger series (found in Hossack’s book of the same name “Freud Through the Looking-Glass”), that explores Sigmund Freud’s pre-war Vienna. Also included are self-reflections captured by the artist through the lens of “Freud’s looking-glass.”
2019 marks the 80th anniversary of the outbreak of World War Two and the death of Sigmund Freud.

Exhibition runs until October 11, 2019.
