Originally planned as a free outdoor show at Gatineau’s Place Laval, the concert was moved indoors to Salle Jean-Despréz due to the rain.
That didn’t stop the energy—especially with Marie Davidson headlining.
Recently short-listed for the 2025 Polaris Music Prize with her album City of Clowns, Davidson delivered a set that turned the room into a dance floor.
I even found myself dancing right on the small stage, which made the night feel extra special.
Opening the evening was KAY-Fayb, who set the tone with a noisy, experimental rock set that was as unpredictable as it was captivating.
