October 10th was the second of seven nights of Experimental Music Wednesday at Pressed.
Hosted by Adam Saikaley.
It it’s second season, the event will run from October 3rd to November 14th.
Playing on the second night was:
Mark Molnar

David Jackson

• Taline Bedrossian

Taline Bedrossian was the resident DJ for the night.
She was using cassette tapes to play out a wide range of experimental music.
From the experimental to ambient to just naturalistic sounds of the outdoors.

David Jackson started off the set.
It was just him on a guitar.
Went from crazy loud and to mellow at the end.

Mark Molnar of Kingdom Shore played a really unique set of his music.
Maybe it was my ears playing tricks.
I noticed on the first part of the act, when he played the cello there was a delay with the sound.
When it got really loud, I noticed alot of people were closing plugging their ears.
In the second part of the part, he just played chaotically like what you expect from Kingdom Shore.
Very intense and captivating.

Overall it was a nice intimate second night of season 2 of Experimental Music Wednesday.
I noticed Julie Nesrallah who host the CBC Radio 2 show Tempo was in attendance of the show.
Who knew she was into experimental music!
Here are the rest of the photos.
