Rah Rah, Centretown Cripplers and Gramercy Riffs @ Cafe Dekcuf

February 27th was a wild fun night at Cafe Dekcuf.
Playing there were:

All four bands played a really great set.

First band to play was In Antarctica.
This five-piece band is from Ottawa. It was the first time hearing and seeing them live.
Music is rock experimental, reminds me of Hey Rosetta! mixed with Sigur Ros.
A great local band you need to see/check out.

Second was Gramercy Riffs. The band hails from St.John’s.
The turnout was unexpected that some people were turned away before Gramercy Riffs started their set.
Their music was energetic pop rock.
The audience was loving every bit of their music.
Sadly their CD was sold out.

Third was Ottawa’s Centretown Cripplers.
For those that read this site, you know they are frequently covered.
They were rocking it up as usual.
Very fun and energetic set.
Chris mentioned about a new EP coming out very soon.

Rah Rah were last to play.
They were truly fun and entertaining.
They sang alot from the old album “Going Steady” and some new songs from the upcoming album.
But I did hear Betrayal, Tentacles and F**k NAFTA.
The crowd were crazy and knew every lyrics of each songs.
Listen to this interview with two members of Rah Rah.
