Today, California artist Lindsay Olsen, who records as Salami Rose Joe Louis, unveiled a double single featuring Fill the Void featuring Omari Jazz and A Sauna-Sized Pill.
These tracks mark the fourth and fifth singles from her upcoming album Lorings, set for release on April 25, 2025, via Brainfeeder.
Both songs continue to expand on the experimental pop sound that Lorings is shaping up to deliver, offering a glimpse into the album’s adventurous sonic palette.

The absurdity of “A sauna sized pill” a playful foil to the raw existentialism of “Fill the void”.
Using the actor Michael Caine as the lyrical basis, “A sauna..” begins with a bounce that gradually fades to a gentle rolling forward, a lullaby for the cinephile.
Meanwhile, the synths on “Fill the void” are urgent and chilly, a reflection of the darkness Lindsay faces down. A collaboration with her friend Omari Jazz, it is at once overwhelming and deeply moving.
Renowned for his 2020 album ‘Dream Child’; a stand-out remix for Hiatus Kaiyote’s “Mood Variant” record (2022) on Brainfeeder; and – most recently – 2024’s ‘Reflections Vol. 2: Black Decelerant’ with collaborator Khari Lucas aka Contour on RVNG International, the Portland-based producer is celebrated for his genre-blending soundscapes of experimental production, ambient, and jazz futurism.
