Today, British band Sorry dropped the music video for their second single of 2025, “Jetplane,” via Domino Recording Co.
A jagged blast of energy, “Jetplane” fuses minimal post-punk with electro-rock and a twitchy, semi–drum & bass backbone.
It’s sharp, stripped-down, and relentlessly propulsive—another left-turn from a band that never stays in one lane for long.
The track buzzes with nervous tension, balancing a cold mechanical edge with visceral immediacy.
About the track by Sorry:
“Jetplane,” a skittering song cut through with the band’s inky black sense of humor.
“Jetplane” is a minimalist burst of menace, a rumbling bassline paired with a rapidfire vocal delivery from Asha Lorenz.
A reverberated vocal sample from Guided By Voices’ “Hot Freaks” cuts through the track, adding a bad-trip sensibility to the proceedings.
The song is also supported by a video directed by FLASHA Productions (Asha Lorenz & Flo Webb) that hones in on the warped physicality of the track and features some “dirty” cameos that point towards the worst of internet culture.
