Yamantaka // Sonic Titan, Perfect Pussy, Green Dreams and Lungbutter @ Il Motore [April 23, 2014]

Decided on a spur of the moment and a Yamantaka // Sonic Titan fix to see this show in Montreal.
I had a blast and this was one of those I was very lucky to attend!
Other bands playing were Perfect Pussy, Green Dreams and Lungbutter.

Yamantaka // Sonic Titan @ Il Motore
Yamantaka // Sonic Titan was the final band to play. You can say it was a homecoming for them. At the moment they are touring with Perfect Pussy and it couldn’t be any good for the band to tour with them. Simply love the show from beginning to end! At least people weren’t moshing like the Ottawa shows.
Perfect Pussy @ Il Motore
Syracuse’s Perfect Pussy was the third band to play. The band has been getting a lot of buzz with the punk noise rock music. Their debut album Say Yes To Love is getting critical love. I was very excited to see them play. It was very insane being a punk hardcore. People moshing and crowd surfing left, right and centre. I couldn’t hear the singer but it was a short set due to one of the members injuring their jaw. Overall very happy!
Green Dreams @ Il Motore
Green Dreams was the second band to play.
Lungbutter @ Il Motore
Montreal’s Lungbutter started off the show. I wasn’t aware that Ottawa ex-pat Joni Sadler plays in this band. Pretty much a post punk drone rock set!
