After the show at Pressed, I headed up to Bar Robo and caught the last two songs by Montreal’s Thanya Iyer. It was a nice intimate show where they performed dreamy alternative pop music.

Kosisochukwu Nnebe’s Somatic Satiation is being shown at Studio Sixty Six. Her works use mix media and embrace the concept of using repetition to temporarily lose meaning as found in the experience of semantic satiation. More info go on their site. The exhibition runs until October 14, 2017.
