Today Joel Plaskett Emergency dropped a fifth single, entitled North Star.
This is the fifth song in a series of ten to be recorded and digitally released by Joel and his band The Emergency; one song a week for ten weeks before Scrappy Happiness comes out on March 27, 2012.

Here is what I think of the single:
North Star is a garage rocking tune, on the veins of the first single “You’re Mine“.
Maybe that good old rock sound from the 1970s.
Kind of reminds me of Shotgun Jimmie.
Anyways have a listen to North Star.
