The National Arts Centre held their launch for the 2013-2014 season of NAC Presents.
They had a preview of the artist and bands that will be playing in Ottawa.
I was excited to hear that Basia Bulat was performing for this occasion.
Basia Bulat only played three songs.
I wish she can play more but this was a preview for their series.
The songs she sang were:
- Tall Tall Shadow
- If It Rains
- It Can’t Be You
What was different was she didn’t have a autoharp.
She played Tall Tall Shadow and If It Rains on the piano.
It was so beautiful hearing in it and I almost cried when she played If It Rains.
Then when she played It Can’t Be You from the new album.
I almost got emotional hearing it.
Overall it was an amazing short set.
But don’t forget that she will be playing a full show on October 5th at the NAC Theatre.
Opening up will be Evening Hymns.
