Acorn Trail (Solo) + Boys Of Bytown @ Café Nostalgica

This is a first of two parts for this outdoor show at Café Nostalgica on April 29, 2011.
Mostly the local side of the live show.
The acts that I saw were:

• Acorn Trail



• Boys of Bytown

Acorn Trail was suppose to be a band but it was solo guy.
Guessing his bandmates were busy or something.
His set was acoustic folky sound.
A really nice set.

Next was Boys Of Bytown.
Don’t be fooled by the name, it is a five piece female group.
Their set had that Gypsy-Folk like music sound.
Or that classical folky sound.
They were great, so great that they did a cover of Timber Timbre’s Magic Arrow.
Unbeknownst  to the members of Matters that how impressive their version is.
Since they do a live cover of that song as well.
Gotta love that rain stick of theirs.
A really lovely interesting set.
