Another show that happened on August 18, 2011 was at the Raw Sugar Cafe.
Playing at the show was:
I was very excited to see this set because Adam is going to drop the new album “Flickering Flashlight” in the fall.
I already heard the album anyways thanks to Kelp Records who was running the show.
Also the new album will be on the label too.
The show started off with Owl Loris.
It is a one man musician of Jordan Robson Cramer.
It was a mix of experimental electronica rock music.
Despite messing up three times on his first song.
He got the groove of it later on.
I really like that set, had that cool beats and drone guitar sound.
Then Adam & The Amethysts came up.
I haven’t seen them live in quite some time.
It was a great set filled with indie pop folk rock set with a waltz in one song.
They played materials from the upcoming album and some of the first album (Which I haven’t gotten yet).
Can’t wait for when they come with the physical release of “Flickering Flashlight”.
Here are the rest of the photos.
