Alessia Cara kicked off her The Pains of Growing Tour at the NAC Southam Hall on May 11, 2019.
This was definitely a family friendly show with people of all ages, from kids, tweens, teenagers and adults to see the 2018 Grammy Best New Artist Winner from Brampton performing music that brings joy and positive to her fans.
Starting off the show was Canadian musician Ryland James.
Performing for about a 25 minute set of pop music which had the girls screaming. 7/10.
Then it was Alessia’s turn to perform.
The stage had an inside house setup.
Starting off with Growing Pains where she was singing on a sofa then in an instant the audience ran near the stage
Wearing a stunning red jacket and pants, walking and singing around the stage.
Currently promoting her second album The Pains of Growing, she resonated and is a role-model to her fans.
Second song she sang was Here and it was so great listening to it.
During My Kind, she bought up a girl from the audience and sing parts of the song.
Great songs from her version of How Far I’ll Go from Disney’s Moana, Scars to Your Beautiful and Stay.
It was wonderful concert of listening positive pop and R&B music! 8/10.
