Amy Millan and Zoon @ Club Saw

A lovely Friday night at Club SAW with Amy Millan.
The Stars vocalist is currently on a short tour in support of her new solo album I Went To Find You.
Her set offered a wonderful blend of indie pop and folk-rock, weaving songs from the new record with fan favourites from Masters of the Burial and Honey From the Tombs.

A delightful surprise came when Jenny Whiteley joined Millan on stage for a heartfelt performance of “Day to Day.”
The night also featured a nostalgic nod to Stars with stripped-down renditions of “Ageless Beauty” and “My Favourite Book.”
It felt like a true family affair, with Amy’s children in attendance, adding warmth and intimacy to the evening.

Opening the show was Zoon, performing solo with guitar and harmonica a phase he joked felt inspired by Bob Dylan.
His set featured new material and even some experimentation with a Casio digital camera.
Midway through, Daniel shared candidly about ongoing struggles with his label, adding an unfiltered, emotional layer to his performance.
It was an intriguing and raw set that set the tone for the night.
Overall, it was a beautiful Friday evening filled with heartfelt music and connection.
