It was the night of the election all over Ontario on October 25th.
I decided to go to a show at Ottawa’s Live Lounge Main Stage (aka Capital Music Hall) to see two great performers.
Playing at the show were:
For those who check this site, I am a big fan of Basia Bulat.
Its great for her that she is touring with someone popular and big at the moment.
This time she went solo.
I haven’t seen her gone solo in awhile, last time it was in 2008 when she opened up for Hayden.
She started off the set with a brand new song, which I think is called “I Can’t Be With You”.
Wow it was just great.
She mostly played tracks from the current album “Heart Of My Own”.
She did sing “In The Night” from “Oh My Darling”.
Basia was still amazed on how people in Ottawa are so nice and the shows in Ottawa are her favorite.
Don’t worry Basia will be back in Ottawa around February 2011.
Josh Ritter was up.
I was not familiar with his music.
But I know he is American and he is very popular.
I like the stage set up he had.
There were giant light bulbs.
I was wowed with his music.
Overall it was a great night being on a Monday.
Here are the rest of the photos.

I was at this concert also and yes it was great. I was a Josh Ritter fan and I was not really familiar with Basia. But I have since become a fan of hers and just bought her new album on vinyl. I was trying to remember where and when I saw her. Thanks for giving me my memories of this back.
