Ottawa was treated to an amazing show on Sunday October 5, 2014.
Playing at the Bronson Centre was Beach House.
Warning: I had to use my iPhone to take photos.
Beach House haven’t played in Ottawa since 2007.
I’ve seen them twice in Montreal and I couldn’t get any excited!
The show started off with Steve Strohmeier.
Played a 20 minute set of his acoustic folk pop music
After him was Skyler Skjelset.
He was accompanied by Grizzly Bear drummer, Chris Bear.
It was a long experimental somewhat shoegazey set which I kind of enjoyed.
Then it was Beach House.
The whole set I was in a dreamy daze and swaying back & forth.
The highlights was hearing them play Take Care (my favorite), Lazuli, Zebra and Myth.
After the show I finally got to meet Victoria and Alex.
Both were so down to Earth.
Overall one of my favorite shows of this year!
