    2. Grey To Blue
    Excellent albums by the Montreal musician. Filled with great singer/songwriter lyrics reminisced of Leonard Cohen, Nick Drake, Del Shannon, Morrissey and The Velvet Underground
  2. Royal Canoe – Today We’re Believers
    3. Royal Canoe - Today We're Believers
    This is their true/real debut from this 6-piece band from Winnipeg. Catchy and experimental alternative pop music.
  3. Michael Feuerstack – Tambourine Death Bed
    4. First album under his real name and so long Snailhouse. More of a mellow folk rock album. Sort of reminds me of Jim Bryson with the song Maps.
    Favorite song: Flowers in the City
  4. Bear Mountain – xo
    5. Two Step
    This album makes you want to get up and start dancing!
  5. Pick a Piper – Pick a Piper
    6. Cinders and Dust
    A great electro-drumming dance record. If you like Caribou, then listen to this album!
  6. Majical Cloudz – Impersonator
    7. Unique album filled with downtempo synthpop music
  7. Born Ruffians – Birthmarks
    8. Third album by the Midland/Toronto band. More of a mature sounding album.
  8. Valleys – Are You Going To Stand There and Talk Weird All Night?
    9. Valleys - Undream A Year
    Long waited full length album by the Montreal duo.
    Filled with dark electronic hypnotic music.
    Love the album title too.
  9. A Tribe Called Red – Nation II Nation
    10. A Tribe Called Red - 'Nation II Nation'
    Should have won this year’s Polaris Music Prize.
  10. Jordan Klassen – Repentance

    11. Piano Brother
    Probably is going to be the next Dan Mangan.
    Great indie pop rock music
