BOOM BOX A Webcast for World Radio Day [February 13, 2016]

Forgot to post these photos on February 13, 2016.
On what was the coldest day in Ottawa.
People braved it and went to McMillan for the inaugural UNESCO World Radio Day webcast BOOM BOX.
Presented by Farm Radio International and the Canadian Commission for UNESCO.
The discussion and debate were about how radio is changing and how radio has become an engine for social change.
The panelist were CBC’s Piya Chattopadhyay, Nora Young (host of CBC Radio: Spark ), Katie Jensen (producer of CANADALAND) and Doug Ward (chair of the board of FRI and founder of CBC As It Happens) and last minute moderated by Erin Flynn of CHUO 89.1 FM (due to Piya’s late flight coming to Ottawa).

It was definitely an insightful and thought-provoking discussion about radio and podcasting.
