Café Alternatif held their first concert series on February 1st.
The series is hosted by Pop Drone which encourage not just Ottawa U students to attend live music at the cafe.
I got there for the the two acts that were playing.
• Camp Radio
• Winchester Warm
• Yuri Bakker
Got there in time for Winchester Warm’s set.
Yuri Bakker was the resident music for the series.
His music is very experimental electronica lougney dance.
Winchester Warm was on.
Guessing they are a band now besides the being a duo.
They put on a great set of indie alterna-folk rock.
They previewed some new songs.
Kind of refreshing that there was alot of people there.
Lastly caught Camp Radio’s set.
They totally rocked it out!
High energetic rock music!
Nice to see the people were getting into it.
Hopefully they will release something new in 2013.
Overall it proved to be a successful night for this series.
The next one will be on February 14th with The Elwins!!
