Today the band Casper Skulls dropped their music video for Spindletop via Next Door Records.

“After rewatching There Will Be Blood I felt inspired to create ‘Spindletop’ which delves into the Texas oil boom of the early 20th century. I lyrically tried to capture the ominous atmosphere and avarice portrayed in the film.”
Contrasting the mood of the track, guitarist and vocalist Melanie St-Pierre stars in a charming and playful music video documenting her journey to band practice through Sudbury with a very big guitar amp. Directed by friends of the band, Curtis Carriere and Jordan Vandenberg, the video features Sudbury’s local scene with stops in cafes, tattoo shops and venues.
