Today, Montreal musician Cedric Noel dropped the music video for Allies.
The second single is taken from the upcoming album Hang Time which comes out on November 12, 2021 via Forward Music Group (Canada) and Joyful Noise Recordings (ROW).
A harrowing powerful song that is a standout on Hang Time.

Allies is a deeply affecting new single off his forthcoming LP Hang Time that is alongside its equally powerful, Ali Vanderkruyk-directed video.
“Like many of the songs on the album, I wrote this one when I was pondering both the genuineness and strength of the allyship in my life, and how it intertwines with trust,” says Noel.
“Repeating the words ‘are you on my side’ felt necessary…almost like a constant reminder.”
The song finds Noel echoing this refrain as a trailing guitar solo interweaves with a Malcolm X soundbite, eventually engulfing the composition and leading to a cacophonous ending.
