CityFolk Festival 2018 [Day 4]

It’s been a hectic week with various things happening.
But here is the coverage and photos from Day 4 of CityFolk Festival 2018.
Kicked off by seeing Whitney Rose performing her country music at the Ravenlaw stage. 7/10.

There were some delays on the City Stage with Ben Caplan.
That was because he just arrived in Ottawa by plane like about 30 minutes ago.
Ben put on a captivating of folk roots rock music.
Sweating up a storm and promoting his third album Old Stock that has that European folk-rock vibe. 8/10.

Barney Bentall performed a nice pop rock set at the festival. 6/10.

It’s been a while since I last saw Lindi Ortega performed.
Wonderful set of country music to get things going for the 6pm slot. 7/10.

You can say legendardy band the Skydiggers literally packed the Ravenlaw stage with their blend of roots rock and folk pop music. 7/10.

Michael McDonald serenaded the City Stage with soft pop rock and R&B music.
He did a nice cover of Marvin Gaye’s What’s Going On. 6/10.

There was a tribute to Gene Clark at the Ravenlaw stage.
While I wasn’t familiar with that music.
Nice performances by Ottawa musicians perform his materials. 6/10.

Ending the night was no other than Hozier.
Captivating the audience at Cityfolk with his blues rock and soul music.
One of the biggest night on Saturday and he delievered. 8/10.
