Crush Buildings with Paramedics at Zaphods

Two Ottawa bands played at Zaphod Beeblebrox on May 21st.
Its been awhile since these two bands played live in Ottawa.
Also a EP release show.

The first band was Paramedics.
For those that don’t know the band consist of:
Joel of Old Crowns
Jamie Kronick who drums for Laurent Bourque
Allan Gauthier of the Love Machine
Jordan Allen who plays solo stuff in the electronica genre.
I think now the band will be sticking as a four-piece band.
Their set was very heavy experimental rock.
It was great to see them play again.

  • Intro
  • Lifeguards
  • New song
  • Park Rangers
  • Witch Hunt
  • Alaska
  • (Disko)

Next was Crush Buildings.
It has been awhile since I last saw them play live.
Can’t remember when was the last time I saw them live at.
Anyways, they were out in promoting their new EP called “things luminous“.
It was an interesting set they put on.
Seemed more subdue than previous sets I’ve seen.
At least the band is still active.
Check out their tracks on the EP:

  • Blueteeth
